Fujifilm India has completed the installation of 50,000 medical devices in India. A campaign was released by it on occasion and outlined the focus of the company on enhancing the country’s healthcare and the significance of access to diagnostic solutions.

Fujifilm recently celebrated its milestone with a campaign titled ‘#50K and counting- hitting the milestone and getting healthcare together’. Testimonials have also been featured in the campaign from its thousands of clients.

The healthcare industry in India faces a lot of issues with huge areas for improvement. The primary, secondary, and tertiary care services define the Indian healthcare system. Primary healthcare is offered to rural places via community healthcare and localized solutions, while secondary healthcare is offered via sub-district and district hospitals. Tertiary care is extended at the central and regional level institutions or super-special hospitals. Lack of infrastructure, shortage of trained and efficient manpower, unmanageable patient load and increased costs of medical devices and pharmaceuticals are becoming the root of the problem in Indian healthcare. Fujifilm aims to resolve a large number of problems through its devices.

Installation of medical solutions has been done by Fujifilm across the entire nation, right from the most popular metropolitan cities up to covering the remote places such as Leh, Ladakh, Northeastern states of India, and also across Bihar and Jharkhand, among several other regions. Right from 2008, Fujifilm has focused on bringing the best of its medical solutions and imaging systems to India.

The managing director of Fujifilm India, Koji Wada, said that they are pleased to have installed more than 50,000 medical devices across India. With this particular milestone, Fujifilm hopes to continue with the legacy of the innovations.

The senior vice president of the medical division, Chander Shekhar Sibal, thanked all the customers and partners of the company for helping Fujifilm India for achieving the 50,000 milestone. Sibal said the company will continue to ride and bring cutting-edge and top-notch solutions and technologies to the people of India in the foreseeable future.
